So, I knew that if I wanted to be a better writer, I needed to read a lot more books. A LOT.
I think it’s important to see how other authors write and see how they shape characters. Of course, you don’t steal what the author wrote, but it can help inspire your style of writing.
Anyways, after I read a book, I like to share my thoughts on it, and how the author’s style either kept my interest or made me sleep halfway through.
That’s why I’m going to have book reviews. On camera.
There’s a community of Youtubers who love to read and review books on camera called BookTube. I found it super fascinating, and definitely am giving it a go.
This is my first video book review, and I hope to do more of these. The exception might be if I do a book vs. a movie, because I like to write those out when I’m comparing.
But moving on. Here’s my book review on “Fire in Frost” by Alicia Rades. Alicia is a writer who has written books on poetry and helping craft better writing. I hope you like it!
Disclaimer: I received this book in a giveaway, but the opinions are 100% my own.
