September 2015 Goals

Goals September 2015 Main

Hello and welcome to September!

This is a special month for me, because it’s my birth month. 🙂 It’s also the beginning of the fall months, which means lots of apple and pumpkin stuff, and that makes my tummy happy.

Looking back on my August goals, the biggest one I achieved was my story was published on Positively Positive! If you missed it, you can check it out here.

Personally, I have been working on being relaxed and not taking things out on my husband. I am learning to talk right away when I am feeling sad or upset, and criticizing him less. I relaxed by working less outside the home, because I want to transition to working from home writing.

Otherwise, August came and went. Now, we’re down to the last four months of the year. Let’s finish them strong!

And now, onto my September goals:

September 2015 Goals

Professional: I was so happy with my post being published! It wasn’t a paid post, but it gave me a lot of exposure. I now plan to build on it by going for paid posts. I am also working on updating my resume, and look forward to finding clients as a copywriter.

Finally, I will finish this damn book! I just signed up for James Patterson’s Master Class, and I will spend September going through the class and hope it gets me out of my writing rut. If you want to sign up or check it out, click here. I will have a review next month!

Personal: Since it’s my birthday month, I look forward to enjoying myself. I get free food emails, and I am going to have fun with those! September is also the last month I will be working at US Cellular Field for the Chicago White Sox Charities. It hasn’t hit me that after 15 seasons I will be done, but it might at the last game.

I will also be traveling to New York City for my birthday with my husband! I’ve been twice, but I think this trip will be more fun. My husband’s never been, and we’re planning on seeing a lot of the city. I’ll probably blog on that too. 😉

That is it for now. I’m off to write to my heart’s content. Cheers!
